Remington Arms Company, LLC is voluntarily recalling Remington Model 700 and Model Seven rifles that were manufactured from to April 9, 2014, and that feature an X-Mark Pro trigger. Unlike the left, Ijust checked my model 30 and noticed that it was all on the right side rather than the left. Remington Year of Manufacture Codes can be found on the barrel of your Remington rifle on the left, just forward of the receiver the first letter of the Code is the month of manufacture, followed by one or two letters indicating the year of manufacture Remington Year of Manufacture Codes may be found on the barrel, just forward of the receiver the first letter in the Code is the year of manufacture following the year of manufacture. The Remington 700, 870, or 1100 serial/barrel number lookup will work with Remington 700, 870, or some other Remington shotgun or rifle. A small video to show the difference between barrel code and serial number on the receiver can be posted on YouTube: You can always use Remington Serial Number Lookup to determine the manufacture date of your Remington rifle. However, when buying a used shotgun or rifle, it is better to check when it was made, that is why the Remington serial number check was developed. The Remington Serial/Barrel Number Lookup allows you to check when your Remington Armor was manufactured.
